Mingus skates past Moon Valley with ease

The Mingus Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 26 points or more this season. They blew past Moon Valley, posting a 53-17 win on the road. Mingus' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Mingus was led to victory by Savannah Tobias and Alice Kinsey. Tobias dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Kinsey dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The match was Tobias' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Makela Martinez, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.

Mingus pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Moon Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Mingus will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bradshaw Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. After both having extra time off, Moon Valley and Cortez will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Cortez is ranked 260th, while Moon Valley is ranked 261st).
