Softball Recap: Chaparral Firebirds vs. Canyon View Jaguars

Chaparral had lost six straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 14-17 to make it seven. They lost 8-2 to the Canyon View Jaguars. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Firebirds couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kaelyn Moffitt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.

As for Canyon View, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won 20 games by six runs or more so far this season.
