Wright hasn't had much luck against Big Horn recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Wright will be strutting in after a victory while Big Horn will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, Wright earned a 3-1 win over Shoshoni. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wranglers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Wright walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 26-24, 20-25, 28-26.

Wright can attribute much of their success to Madison Rodriguez, who had 20 digs and seven assists, and Arianna Baham, who had 21 digs and seven aces. Those seven assists gave Rodriguez a new career-high.
They weren't the only good servers: Wright was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Big Horn faced Tongue River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. That makes it the first time this season the Rams have let down their home crowd.
Big Horn actually scored more points across those five sets (101-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 17-25, 16-25, 25-22, 15-6.
Big Horn's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 23-8. As for Wright, their victory bumped their record up to 12-15.
