Baseball Recap: Baboquivari Takes a Loss

Baboquivari lost against St. David back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Baboquivari Warriors lost 15-4 to the St. David Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jesse Buendia and Kason Garcia did some serious damage despite the final result: Buendia scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2, while Garcia scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Buendia has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Baboquivari now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. David, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baboquivari will challenge Duncan at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Duncan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. As for St. David, they will face off against St. Augustine Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
