Soccer Recap: Father Lopez Takes a Loss

If Father Lopez was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Atlantic last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Father Lopez Green Wave came up short against the Trinity Catholic Celtics on Friday, falling 4-1.

Father Lopez's goal came courtesy of Sophia Flanigan, who's now up to seven this season.

Father Lopez's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-3. As for Trinity Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-12-2.

Father Lopez wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Taylor on the 24th. Trinity Catholic has also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Trenton on the 23rd.
