Baseball Recap: McNairy Central Gets the Win

McNairy Central won the last time they faced Scotts Hill and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats came out on top against the Lions by a score of 8-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

McNairy Central got a great performance from Hayes Teague as he tossed six innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. What's more, Teague posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Case Stone was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. McNairy Central is 3-1 when Stone posts two or more runs, but 5-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ridge Rankin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

McNairy Central's record now sits at 8-12. As for Scotts Hill, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 14-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. McNairy Central will venture away from home to take on Chester County at 6:20 p.m. on Monday. As for Scotts Hill, they will take on Adamsville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
