St. Croix Falls was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cumberland on Friday. The Saints put the hurt on the Beavers with a sharp 8-2 victory. Considering the Saints have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Faith Allram was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
