Volleyball Recap: New Lisbon Comes Up Short

New Lisbon lost against Cashton two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rockets came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While New Lisbon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-22.

Brooklyn Lowe paced New Lisbon's offense, picking up eight kills. Lowe got some help from Heidi Mathes and her six assists. Ella Ragan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

New Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Cashton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

New Lisbon has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Hillsboro on the 7th. As for Cashton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Necedah on the 7th.
