Baseball Recap: Pettus Comes Up Short

Pettus lost against Karnes City back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pettus Eagles came up short against the Karnes City Badgers, falling 12-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pettus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Karnes City, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pettus will take on Yorktown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Karnes City, they will be playing at home against Orange Grove at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last six games Orange Grove has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
