Basketball Recap: Delphian Comes Up Short

Delphian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 67-52 to the Colton Vikings. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Delphian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Colton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delphian will take on Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Delphian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Colton, they will face off against Regis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Regis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matches -- so hopefully Colton likes a good challenge.
