Softball Recap: Boston Latin Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Minuteman Regional last Thursday, Boston Latin Academy came back down to earth. The Dragons fell just short of the Manchester Essex Hornets by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. The loss put an end to the Dragons' undefeated start to the season.

Claire Hauck was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Andrade, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Boston Latin Academy fell to 2-1. As for Manchester Essex, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Boston Latin Academy will be playing at home against East Boston at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manchester Essex, they will face off against Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
