Basketball Recap: Del Norte Comes Up Short

Del Norte lost against Hoehne back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Del Norte Tigers lost 63-41 to the Hoehne Farmers. The Tigers were down 52-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Hoehne's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylee Foster, who went 10-for-17 en route to 22 points in addition to five boards and five steals. The match was Foster's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Phoenix San Roman, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Del Norte's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Hoehne, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Del Norte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hoehne, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-25 win against Las Animas on the 21st.
