Vermilion proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Bellevue Redmen. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Sailors have posted since May 10, 2025.

Vermilion's record is now 8-12. As for Bellevue, they moved to 12-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vermilion will challenge Olmsted Falls at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellevue, they will take on Norwalk at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
