Soccer Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Peninsula duked it out withSouth Pasadena on Saturday. The Peninsula Panthers fell just short of the South Pasadena Tigers by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Tigers are ranked 96th).

Peninsula now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for South Pasadena, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

Peninsula didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Muir on the 14th. South Pasadena has also already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Charter Oak on the 14th.
