Basketball Recap: Harpeth Hall Takes a Loss

Harpeth Hall lost against Lipscomb Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Harpeth Hall Honeybears were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 36-35 to the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Honeybears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Mustangs are ranked 16th).

Harpeth Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lipscomb Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harpeth Hall will square off against Brentwood Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lipscomb Academy, they will take on Father Ryan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
