Air Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Palmer Ridge Bears by a score of 55-43. Given the Kadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Bears are ranked 61st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Air Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tatyonna Brown led the charge by going 8 for 11 en route to 16 points along with six steals and five boards. The match was Brown's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kinley Asp, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 15 points in addition to five assists and three blocks.

Air Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palmer Ridge only pulled down five offensive boards.

Despite the loss, Palmer Ridge had strong showings from Addison Steenland, who went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points, and Madison Curtis, who went 8 of 12 on her way to 17 points. Steenland has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Adelyn Mccormick was another key player, putting up six points.

Air Academy pushed their record up to 16-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Palmer Ridge, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Air Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-41 win against Lutheran on the 30th. As for Palmer Ridge, they will host Cheyenne Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
