Basketball Game Preview: Clements Colts vs. Elkmont Red Devils

The Clements Colts and the Elkmont Red Devils will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.

Clements will face Elkmont after dropping another heartbreaker against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering on Thursday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within three of beating them. The Colts took a 65-51 bruising from the Sentinels. The Colts have struggled against the Sentinels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Elkmont had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down Lindsay Lane Christian Academy 58-40. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Clements now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Elkmont, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Clements lost to Elkmont at home by a decisive 66-52 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
