Volleyball Recap: Reedy Comes Up Short

Reedy lost against Memorial back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-15.

Charlie Henderson paced Reedy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Henderson got some help from Karina Crowder and her 16 assists. Finally, Henderson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Addison Childers was the offensive standout of the game as she had 18 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last ten matches.

Reedy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Reedy will take on Grand Oaks at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Memorial, they will take on Richardson in a tournament on Friday.
