Redeemer Christian came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Hernando Christian Academy. This was payback for Redeemer Christian, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ella Celano had a dynamite game, getting 29 digs. Those 29 digs gave her a new career-high.

Redeemer Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Redeemer Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Redeemer Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Covenant School of Jacksonville on the 12th. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they will square off against Springstead at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
