Recap: Cole Cougars vs. Ingram Moore Warriors

The Cole Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 25 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Ingram Moore with a sharp 60-34 win on Friday. Given Cole's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Ingram Moore is ranked 830th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cole's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Livingston, who scored 17 points along with five assists. The game was Livingston's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Ajian Hasadinratana was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Cole has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Ingram Moore, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.

Cole will take on Luling at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Luling's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games. As for Ingram Moore, they will head out on the road to face off against Marion at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
