Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Edgewater walked away with it. They blew past the East River Falcons 68-44 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won eight games in a row.

Edgewater is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for East River, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.

Edgewater will face off against Evans on Friday. Evans knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Edgewater likes a good challenge. East River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
