Baseball Recap: Hoover Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hoover and Tuscaloosa County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hoover had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss on Friday.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 22-18. As for Tuscaloosa County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 29-13.

Hoover has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Tuscaloosa County on the 2nd. The Wildcats does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
