Football Game Preview: Bismarck Lions vs. Lavaca Golden Arrows + Official Tickets

The Bismarck Lions will face off against the Lavaca Golden Arrows at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bismarck's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last nine matchups.

Bismarck is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Horatio: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bismarck blew Horatio out of the water with a 57-0 final score. Bismarck hasn't had any issues with Horatio recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Caedmon Keithley produced another solid performance rushing for 281 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 21 rushing touchdowns on the season. Blake Cranford was another major influence, as he rushed for 38 yards and ran in a TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bismarck was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Lavaca played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of Booneville. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Arrows in their meetings with the Bearcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Lavaca's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bismarck, their record is now 9-1.
