The Bigelow Panthers will challenge the Perryville Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bigelow comes in on five and Perryville on eight.

Bigelow had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt White County Central on Tuesday. Everything went Bigelow's way against White County Central as Bigelow made off with a 21-3 victory. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th.

In other batting news, Bigelow got a massive performance out of Bryn Weaver, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave Weaver a new career-high in runs. Mattie Langston also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Bigelow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Perryville got the win against Dover on Tuesday by a conclusive 14-2. Fans of the Mustangs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Like Bigelow, Perryville also got a great game from a two-way player: Ainsley Tippen. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Tippen has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Perryville let Macey Chambers and Grace Anderson run wild. Chambers scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Anderson went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Chambers is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kendyl Griffin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
