Soccer Game Preview: Orting vs. Steilacoom + Official Tickets

The Orting Cardinals are taking a road trip to take on the Steilacoom Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Steilacoom will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Orting extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Washington.

Meanwhile, Steilacoom kept a clean sheet against Clover Park on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Timberwolves. That's two games straight that Steilacoom have won by exactly eight goals.

Their offense was hitting Clover Park from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Lauren Parry led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Steilacoom's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Orting, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Orting might still be hurting after the 8-2 defeat they got from Steilacoom in their previous meeting back in September. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Cardinals were down 7-0.
