The Dublin Scioto Irish will face off against the St. Francis DeSales Stallions at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Dublin Scioto had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Westland on Thursday. The Irish blew past the Cougars 3-0. The Irish haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-17.

St. Francis DeSales wouldn't go down easily and took Bishop Hartley into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-22, 25-18, 22-25, 15-8.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's matchup: Dublin Scioto has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.2 aces per game. However, it's not like St. Francis DeSales struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Dublin Scioto was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Francis DeSales in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Irish repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
