After a string of three wins, Marion's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians/Squaws this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-8 back in March.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Jourdanton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marion will square off against rival Great Hearts Northern Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jourdanton is set to take on their familiar foe Poteet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
