Softball Recap: North Point Eagles vs. Huntingtown Hurricanes
North Point extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 7-5 in the process. They lost 14-0 to the Huntingtown Hurricanes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
As for Huntingtown, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Considering they have won nine contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

At the plate, Madalee Hunley was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Morgan Cranford, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
