Baseball Game Preview: Clifton Mustangs vs. Passaic County Tech Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Clifton will face off against Passaic County Tech. The Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Clifton has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clifton lost 18-3 to Passaic County Tech on Monday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Clifton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tony Morales, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Nate Pendola also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Passaic County Tech, bringing their record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Clifton, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-7.
