Basketball Preview: Catholic Central Crusaders vs. Toronto Red Knights
The Catholic Central Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Toronto Red Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Catholic Central strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 60-46.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Catholic Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camden Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bradley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hayden Cihon, who scored 21 points.
Meanwhile, Toronto can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Oak Glen 62-34 at home.
Catholic Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Toronto, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Catholic Central was dealt a bruising 57-26 defeat at the hands of the Red Knights when the teams last played back in January. Can Catholic Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
