Soccer Recap: Wheatmore's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It's playoff time, and Wheatmore had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Bandys Trojans on Tuesday. Wheatmore found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: three Wheatmore players were handed yellow cards.

Brianna Hill and Natalie Bowman scored all four of Wheatmore's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 54 goals.

Wheatmore's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7-1. As for Bandys, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Wheatmore will challenge Pine Lake Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pine Lake Prep will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Wheatmore surely won't give up without a fight. Bandys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
