Volleyball Recap: Wayland-Cohocton Comes Up Short

Wayland-Cohocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Pavilion Golden Gophers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Golden Gophers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wayland-Cohocton's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Pavilion, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayland-Cohocton will welcome Dansville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pavilion, they will square off against Warsaw at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
