Baseball Recap: Mukwonago Takes a Loss

Mukwonago entered their match against Waukesha North on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Indians fell 7-3 to the Northstars. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Northstars earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Easton Ahrens was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Adam Kudronowicz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Mukwonago suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Waukesha North, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-3.

Mukwonago has already played their next contest, a 9-6 loss against Badger on the 25th. As for Waukesha North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-7 defeat against Arrowhead on the 28th.
