Recap: Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes vs. Rockwall-Heath Hawks
The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes extended their postseason success on Friday against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hawks 62-24 on the road. Duncanville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Caden Durham was his usual excellent self, rushing for 220 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries. Durham has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played. Keelon Russell was another key contributor, throwing for 308 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Rockwall-Heath's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jack Davenport, who picked up 118 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The win was the third in a row for Duncanville, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42 points. As for Rockwall-Heath, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Duncanville will take on The Woodlands at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Woodlands is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Rockwall-Heath does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
