Victor Mendez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 35 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of IDEA Frontier College Prep's points. Ivan Garcia was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lyford beat IDEA Sports Park 57-51 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lyford.
IDEA Frontier College Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Lyford, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.
IDEA Frontier College Prep couldn't quite finish off Lyford in their previous meeting back in January and fell 56-54. Can IDEA Frontier College Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
