Lorena barely beat Hearne the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Lorena Leopards' way against the Hearne Eagles on Monday as the Lorena Leopards made off with an 8-2 victory. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Hearne from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Dale Hudspeth led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Lorena is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those 11 games. Hearne has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14-1 record this season.

Lorena will head out on the road to challenge Giddings at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Giddings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lorena surely won't give up without a fight. Hearne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
