Soccer Recap: Piedmont Academy Comes Up Short

Piedmont Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Gatewood Gators. Piedmont Academy were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Piedmont Academy's record is now 0-11. As for Gatewood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piedmont Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on First Presbyterian Day at 5:30 p.m. on April 10. As for Gatewood, they will square off against Monsignor Donovan Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
