Baseball Recap: Stebbins Triumphs

Stebbins's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Xenia Buccaneers by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 27-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Evan Morgan was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Morgan was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, Carson Henry was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. He has become a key player for Stebbins: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 2-5 otherwise.

Stebbins now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Xenia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Stebbins will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Buccaneers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
