Honaker piles up the points against Patrick Henry

Recap: Honaker Tigers vs. Patrick Henry Rebels

Make it six blowout wins for the Honaker Tigers this season. They took their matchup on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 60-29 victory over Patrick Henry. The victory was familiar territory for Honaker who now have five in a row.

Patrick Henry lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Quinton Deskins, who scored seven points.

Honaker has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Patrick Henry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-5.

Honaker won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Northwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Tigers are ranked 186th). As for Patrick Henry, they and the Indians will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
