Baseball Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hilltop on Friday, Evergreen came back down to earth. The Vikings fell just short of the Napoleon Wildcats by a score of 4-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Vikings have suffered since March 25, 2024.

Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Napoleon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-1 record this season.

Evergreen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Napoleon, they will square off against Anthony Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
