Soccer Recap: Gateway Takes a Loss

Gateway managed to slip by Hempfield Area the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gators lost 4-0 to the Spartans on Thursday. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Gateway struggled afterwards.

Gateway is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11. As for Hempfield Area, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.

Gateway didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Franklin Regional on the 13th. As for Hempfield Area, they will square off against Woodland Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
