Basketball Game Preview: Mercy Magic vs. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars

Having just played yesterday, the Mercy Magic will head out on the road to face off against the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mercy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Mercy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 71-66 to Archbishop Spalding.

Meanwhile, Our Lady of Mount Carmel faced Pallotti in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Our Lady of Mount Carmel slipped by Pallotti 51-50.

Mercy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-9.

Mercy came up short against Our Lady of Mount Carmel when the teams last played back in January, falling 61-55. Can Mercy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
