Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Norton Panthers 72-21. The contest marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Norton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern and Norwayne will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norton will take on Woodridge in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
