Clarion Area added to the longest winning streak in Keystone Shortway - Small this week by beating Allegheny-Clarion Valley, 55-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Bobcats.
Clarion Area took down the Falcons 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Damien Slike ran for 134 yards and caught 1 pass for 21 yards in the win.
Shane Murphy was the best wideout in the league this week as Union bested Keystone. Murphy tallied 3 receptions for 95 yards. Chet Carmichael helped Union's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 27 yards.
5-foot-7 quarterback Lane Cicciarelli of the Knights/Damsels is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,412. He has also thrown 17 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cody Hearst. The Clarion Area star has 36 catches for 757 yards.
