Basketball Recap: Wind River Takes a Loss

Wind River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Shoshoni Wranglers, falling 76-42. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Wranglers are ranked 15th).

Wind River's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Shoshoni, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Wind River has already played their next match, a 79-28 defeat against Hot Springs County on the 17th. As for Shoshoni, they will take on Southeast at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
