Softball Recap: Cherokee Trail Cougars vs. Fort Collins Lambkins

Cherokee Trail had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Fort Collins Lambkins as the Cherokee Trail Cougars made off with a 13-1 victory.

Emma Rice made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Rice was also big at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.
