Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Providence). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Chariho Chargers 33-6. The Cougars pushed the score to 26-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers had little chance of recovering from.

Jayden Allard threw for 75 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes.

The victory (which was North Providence's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average over those games. As for Chariho, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, North Providence will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Chariho, they will head out on the road to take on Portsmouth at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
