Baseball Recap: Jefferson Cougars vs. Goretti Gael

Jefferson is ranked highly in their home state and on Wednesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Goretti. The Jefferson Cougars took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goretti Gael. Jefferson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Goretti apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played two weeks ago.

Conner Williams and Will Polvinale did some serious damage despite the final result: Williams went 1-for-1 with a home run and two RBI, while Polvinale went 1-for-1 with a home run and two RBI.

Even though they lost, Jefferson lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
