Estill County is a perfect 10-0 against Lee County since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Engineers will square off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Estill County will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Wolfe County on Tuesday. The Engineers put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 18-9 win. The Engineers haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

In other batting news, Estill County let Brooklyn Ferrell and Peyton Henderson run wild. Ferrell went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, while Henderson went 4-for-5 with four runs and one stolen base. Those four hits gave Henderson a new career-high. Cundiff was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, two triples, and two stolen bases.

In other batting news, Emileigh Warner was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Hollie Chrisman, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lee County's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-10. As for Estill County, their record now sits at 15-8.
