Garfield had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed past the Champion Golden Flashes to the tune of 56-22. The result was nothing new for the G-Men, who have now won three games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Leading Garfield to victory were Colton Miller and Devin Bates. Miller picked up 35 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Bates rushed for 35 yards and one score. Those 35 receiving yards gave Miller a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Garfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 495 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Garfield's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Champion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
